15,000 Palestinians refugees in Baghdad are being attacked frequently as scapegoats. They are unable to leave as few countries are willing to take them in. Around 1000 are in dreadful conditions on the Syrian & Jordanian borders. This website is managed by friends of the Palestinian community who are working with them to secure immediate protection and long term solutions.

Note to Media
There is evidence that media coverage has catalysed further attacks against the community in Baghdad, therefore at the moment we do not recommend major coverage of this issue. Once most Palestinians have left Baghdad, then media attention might be helpful for their cause.
